Our love story
From the very beginning, Kayla was struck by Cristina’s beauty and humor, thinking to herself, “hot damn, she’s purdy.” But it wasn’t just her looks that won Kayla over; as they spent more time together, she discovered that Cristina’s warmth and understanding made her feel truly seen and accepted for the first time. For Cristina, it was that very openness—and the way Kayla cared for her through everything life threw at them—that made her realize she’d found someone incredibly special.

Their journey hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge brought them closer. One hot, sweltering night without power showed them how even the simplest struggles could become moments of growth. Then there were the bigger tests, from job changes and moving homes to navigating loss after loss. Through each one, they showed up for each other, finding strength in their connection and unwavering support in each other’s arms.
Together, they built a relationship marked by compassion and comfort, teaching each other to lean in rather than go it alone. Cristina taught Kayla that she didn’t have to carry every burden herself, that it was okay to accept help. And Kayla’s family embraced Cristina from the start, showing her what family could mean in new ways.
Of all the memories they share, their peaceful getaway to Cabins on Strawberry Hill remains their favorite. That place quickly became their sanctuary, a beautiful spot in nature where laughter and love filled the air. It’s where they’ll return to say their vows in 2025, marking another cherished chapter in the place where they dreamed about their future together.
Their love story, built on resilience, laughter, and deep understanding, is just beginning. And they couldn’t be happier to celebrate the start of forever in a place that feels like home—together.
